David has been conceiving, designing, developing, and deploying the most advanced space systems and technologies for decades at/with NASA, ESA, and DLR as well as the space industry including in missions like NASA-ESA's Mars Sample-Return (MSR) NASA's MSR to return Martian samples to Earth gathered by the Mars 2020's Perseverance Rover NASA's Perseverance, and Mars autonomous aerial vehicles currently under development beyond the Mars Helicopter Ingenuity NASA's Ingenuity. He is deeply involved in those activities at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and intensively developing the new generation of autonomous robotic technology for space missions and terrestrial applications.
