David holds the most distinguished accomplishments at all levels, at national labs (Head of Program Management & Space Mission Research and Development, Senior Research Scientist), academia (Professor), and industry (Chief Technology Officer CTO). He launched one of the most successful scientific publications ever in 1989 with Neurocomputing published by Elsevier Science with over 50 volumes, publication with which he remained for 15 years until 2003, always as Editor-in-Chief.
